Behind the Brand
JMNYC was founded on a simple belief: jewelry should become part of your story.
The brand is inspired by the way a piece of jewelry can transport someone back to a moment in time—a celebration, a journey, a milestone, or a loved one. Every design is created with the hope that it will become a cherished favorite, worn often and treasured for years to come.
After moving to New York City from Chicago, the founder immersed herself in the world of luxury design. Early roles at Bergdorf Goodman, Lalique, and Frette, surrounded by exceptional European design, refined her appreciation for timeless style, thoughtful details, and enduring quality. Today, she designs every JMNYC collection from her studio in New York City's Flatiron District. Her signature is color—unexpected combinations of natural gemstones and freshwater pearls that feel sophisticated, effortless, and distinctly modern.
For more than 20 years, she has shared her collections directly with women across North America through trunk shows and personal appearances. Those conversations continue to inspire her work and reinforce the belief that the most-loved jewelry isn't reserved for special occasions—it's the jewelry that becomes part of everyday life.
